SWC Poker Review
After shutting down for a little while in February of 2015, this site was relaunched as SWC poker (previously known as Seals With Clubs). It is a Bitcoin only poker site that is licensed out of Antigua and it has a fairly solid reputation in the world of Bitcoin poker. Before the shutdown, they were using the Poker Mavens software, but under the new format, players use a downloadable poker client known as Bitcoin Poker 2.0.
The action on this site is pretty good, with a decent amount of players and a variety of different games to choose from. In the broader world of online poker, you will find some sites using a traditional currency, but for Bitcoin, this is a site with a high population. You have a range of different cash games that you can get in on, with Texas hold ‘em, pot limit Omaha, pot limit Omaha hi-lo, stud and draw being some of the most popular. You also have the Big BTC, which is a weekly poker tournament that the site holds every Sunday.
SWC Poker does offer a nice range of promotions and bonuses and this is probably part of the reason why they are one of the more popular Bitcoin poker sites. You don’t have a sign-up bonus, but they have a player points system known as Krill. A player can earn different amounts of Krill for every ranked hand that they play and this helps to rank their weekly performance and win prizes. The Krill is awarded based on a series of factors like the type of game being played and the amount being bet. In addition to that, there is a fairly low rake of 2.5% on the tables.
The team at SWC Poker does take an active role in maintaining fairness and they do offer security features to protect player accounts. They will monitor some of the games to make sure that there is no cheating or collusion and they will watch players if suspicious behavior is brought to their attention. You have 2-factor authentication for account security and the accounts are anonymous through the Bitcoin network.
The customer service is almost exclusively handled through and email system. The site does not have a support chat feature or a telephone number that you can call. However, they do guarantee a response to all requests within 24-hours of submission.
Is SWC Poker Provably Fair?
The gambling site SWC Poker does not currently offer a provably fair random number generator for any of its games.

SWC Poker Poker Review
SWC Poker is the new face of Seals with Clubs, and it continues on with the fine tradition established by its predecessor. Unlike many other poker sites, SWC Poker is devoted entirely to those playing with Bitcoin, and accepts no other payment methods. This means that all players can see blinds and buy-ins in BTC, instead of having to do some mental arithmetic and convert the amount from dollars or euros. In general, SWC Poker is a good place for poker enthusiasts to play, however there are a couple of small issues, which are discussed further down this page.
SWC Poker has a number of players at its site, therefore you should usually be able to find plenty of games to take part in. There aren’t as many fish as some other sites, so you might have to work for your money, however the fact that the poker software is so nice to use ensures that you’ll have a good time when you play, even if you aren’t winning stacks of cash. Most of the players are found playing Texas Hold ‘Em, so playing any other varieties might lead to a small wait before you can get the action started.
More About SWC Poker
The biggest advantage of playing at SWC Poker is easy to point out – this is a site that offers an absolutely huge number of poker varieties to players. While other sites only offer Texas Hold ‘Em and occasionally a couple of other varieties, SWC Poker has everything, from Open Face Chinese through to Omaha, and Razz through to Badeucy. This means that it is a great place to play if you prefer more niche poker variations, or if you’re eager to expand your knowledge of poker as a whole. The players at these more niche games are generally quite good though, so expect to lose some cash while you’re finding your feet.
It is also worth mentioning the fact that SWC Poker is completely anonymous, meaning that you won’t have to give any personal details when playing with them. This is one of the biggest draws for people at the site, and also means that it is easy for US players to play there. If you have any questions about how the depositing and withdrawing processes work when using Bitcoin, the site has a comprehensive FAQ section. Aside from this FAQ section though, customer support is limited, which can be frustrating when you have a problem or a question.
SWC Poker delivers a top-class poker experience, at a site designed specifically to cater for those looking to play using Bitcoin. The large range of games is the main draw, while the high amount of traffic is also a definite plus point. The only downside is the customer service, which can be hit-and-miss at times. All in all, this is a place that most Bitcoin poker players should enjoy, so why not head there today and see if you like what SWC Poker has to offer?
SwC Poker, formally known as Seals With Clubs was the first, and for a long time the only, good bitcoin poker room. Their table range isn't bad. I was able to play no limit and fixed limit texas hold’em, limit and pot limit omaha, limit 7 card stud and razz, limit 2-7 triple draw, limit badeucy, pot limit badeucy and limit badugi, HORSE, limit dealer’s choice, 7, 8 and 12 game dealer’s choice, open face chinese and crazy pineapple are all listed in the lobby.
The competition can be stiff during the weekdays. My guess is that this is from the remaining pros that didn’t move out of the USA post-Black Friday.
